I am a native Californian from the SF Bay Area.  I have two grown children and five grand children.  I am a Civil Engineer but have recently retired from active work.  I have been married for three years to Kyungsook(Kay) who is from Daegu, South Korea.  We have a great life together including cooking, hiking and spending time with our family. 

 

I like to travel.  I have spent a lot of time in Central and South America in years past mainly long ago.  I have been to South Korea five times over the past 10 years.  It is a fascinating and great country with a very distinct history and culture.  I have learned more than I ever imagined about South Korea though I am still a beginner in my knowledge.  

 

I am a funny person, I think but maybe not as funny as I imagine myself to be.  

 

I hope to hike at least twice per month and live in Davis with Kay. You can call me Shark because my sister calls me that.   I am in my energetic 60's so I am ready to hike.
