우리 팬다가 작년 11월부터 차분히 알아보고 잘 준비하여 금년 6월에 알라스카 크루즈 잘 다녀왔습니다. 

팬다가 회원님들을 위해 몇주전 올린 유용한 글을 정리해 봤습니다  그리고 팬다와 산행하며 들은 얘기들도 추가 했습니다.

첫째, 여러 회사가 많지만 Princess Cruise Line을 선택했습니다. 예약후 웹싸이트에서 personalizer를 작성하고 나면 일정표, 보딩패스, 러기지 태그를 프린트 할 수 있음. 러기지 태그에 룸 번호도 써 있습니다. 

둘쩨, 출발지역도 많지만 Vancouver 에서 출발하여 Anchorage에서 끝나는게 제일 좋은것 같아요. 왜냐하면 내용도 알차고 같은 길 돌아오며 똑 같은거 두번 보지 않아도 되니까요.

셋째, 룸은 비싼데 하지말고 가장 싼 인테리어 룸을 선택하세요. 왜냐하면 주로 밖에서 지내고 룸에서는 샤워하고 잠만 잡니다. 사실 잠도 밖에서 별보며 잘 수도 있어요. 운 좋으면 업그레이드 될 수도 있음.

넷째, 백팩을 가져오는게 좋음. 시내관광등에는 이것만 들고 나가도 되고 베어인형도 넣을 수 있고 아무튼 편리함.

다섯째, 배에서 내려서 관광할때 사용할 큰 물병 가져 오세요. 배에서 내리면 물도 귀하고 아주 비싸요. 배안에서는 부페 레스토랑에서 물을 받을 수가 있어요. 참고로 워터 파운틴에서는 위생문제로 물병에 물을 받지 못합니다.  일반 레스토랑에서 나오는 물잔에는 괜챦구요.

여섯쩨, 여권을 비롯한 귀중품은 룸안의 safe box 에 보관하세요.

일곱째, 배안에서 3개의 공짜 레스토랑이 있습니다.  부페하나와 일반 레스토랑 2개. 일반 레스토랑 아주 좋아요. 랍스터도 있구요.

여덟째, Glacier Bay근처 마지막 멈추는 몇 도시는 아주 작습니다. 몇시간 걸을 수 있고 사진기를 꼭 가져 가세요. 얼음이 바다로 떨어지는것도 찍을 수 있어요.

마지막으로, 비행기로 Vancouver에 가고 Anchorage에서 비행기로 돌아와야 하므로 크루즈 출발시간과 마치는 시간을 잘 확인 하세요. Vancouver에서는 세관통과후 크루즈 회사 직원과 바로 만나는 곳이 있으므로 별 문제 없습니다. 하지만 크루즈를 Whitter에서 마치고 나면 Anchorage까지 버스를 타고 와서 비행기를 타야 하므로 최소한 12시간 30분정도가 필요합니다. Anchorage는 Whitter에서 약 75마일 떨어져 있고 텍시나 우버 없습니다. 버스비는 $50-$60 정도.

부모님 모시고 8월초에 알라스카 크루즈 가려고 했는데 뜸들이다가 너무 늦어 버렸어요. 오늘 보니 8월말이나 자리가 있네요. 그런데 가격은 1인당 $600 정도로 몇 주전보다 아주 좋아요 ($1000 넘었음). 하는 수 없이 이번엔 다른데 가고 내년에 꼭 가보려고 합니다.

Regarding you guys Planning next vacation to Alaska via cruise. You may purchase the lowest price stateroom with no window. The room name is
called Interior. The Cruise Line may upgrade better room for you. Anyway, you only need the room to take shower and sleep. Most of the time you are out of the room. I think take the Cruise depart from Vancourer to Alaska better than depart from Seattle. I took Princess Cruise Line depart from Vancouver.
your hand carry-on luggages, it may check in for free depends on Airlines. You better bring a backpack with you. It can go anywhere with you
while you are off the boat. you better bring a large water bottle. you can fill up the water everyday while you eat at the buffet restaurant. You are not allow fill the water bottle directly from the water fountains. But you can fill water with water glasses. While you are on inland tours or off the boat, water is hard to find and very expensive. You place your passports and valueable stuffs in the safe in your room.
After you reserve your cruise line, you have to fill in the personalizer in the Cruise Line website. After everthings fill-out and o.k. you can print out your Cruise itenery, eboarding pass and eluggage tags from your Cruise Line Personalizer days before you depart for Cruise vacation. The final eluggage tags should have your assigned room number on it.
It's importon to read all the informations for your cruise vacation. Especially pay attention to time requirements for Cruise Embarkation and
Disembarkation. In Disembarkation requires at least 12.5 hours before your flight depart time from Anchorage come back home. You may better 
purchased bus tickets from Whitter to anchorage from Cruise Ship Line at disembarkation. There are no Taxi or Uber from whitter to Anchorage.
From Whitter to Anchorage is about 75miles in distance. The bus fare about $50.00 to $60.00 per person. 
There 're 3 Resturants for guests for free. One buffet and 2 full serve restaurants. The full serve restaurants services are very good. There're two formal & 5 casual dinners. The second formal dinner is lobster dinner that I missed it. 
The last couples stops in glacier bay, the cities are very small. You just get off the ship, walk around local area for couples hours is fine.
Bring your camera with you. Especially the last couple stops at glaciers bay in front of the glaciers. Take the shots of the moments ice falling down into the sea.
